Makeup

Dusting glitter on my cheekbones
Because the sparkle’s left my eyes
At least my highlight be poppin’

Brushing blush on my cheeks
Because the color’s left my life
At least I got that rose kissed glow

Penciling that arch high
Because every day feels so flat
At least my brows be on fleek

Flicking that wing high ready to soar
Because I can’t catch laughter these days
At least my eyeliner be on point

The doctor told me I have chronic dry eye
So day after day I just cry
At least that brings the sparkle back to my eyes
